Bead Release Recipes

Hi All.

Just joined this forum. And I have ust begun working on glass beads. In Malaysia here, it is quite a expensive hobby. The glass and all materials have to be shipped from Australia or US.

Was wondering if any of you there have any Bead release recipes that I could use to make my own release.

Thanks

I have known of a recipe using kaolin clay and diatomaceous earth. The clay is common with potters and the diatomaceaous earth is available through garden supply places.

a pottery supply store will have alumina hydrate and kiln wash is common to all pottery stores. mix them with water and a whisk and store in air tight jars and you will have cheap bead release for a long time.
