Does your camera speak a foreign language you don’t understand? Do you struggle with how to light and photograph your glass art to showcase their beauty and craftsmanship? In this class you will learn the secrets of how to shoot your glass, jewelry, beads, and crafts with the Official Photographer for the 2017 Glass Vegas Show. Covering basic photography and setting up your camera, you will use instructor-provided lighting setups to photograph your own pieces. The qualities of good lighting, composition, background materials, and setting your camera for consistent high quality photos will be discussed. Students should bring their own DSLR cameras to learn the proper settings for photographing their pieces. Leave this workshop feeling empowered to create photos as beautiful as the art you are photographing.
