I was trying to look how to search the forums but i could not find it so i am going to ask a question that most likely gets asked by noobs all the time, but i was wondering if people could point me in a direction of a good torch for a newbie like me i will be working with boro glass. I think you cant go wrong with a Carlisle CC.
It will do just about everything ... a little cheaper is the Knight Bullet. Its a smaller torch but still a hard worker.
Even cheaper is a Lynx for smaller work. Or a Nortel Major/

I started on a nortel mega minor. I didn't mind it. Pretty efficient. I wished I'd gone with a GTT lynx tho. I could have used the extra power and detail work the lynx is capable of.
