First try at Implosion....

I think it looks like a flower lol. Haven't been at lampwork and marble making for very long but i love everything about it. I have a couple questions. First what does everyone think about my first be nice lol. And other question. it seem no matter how hard i try when i start flatting my blob and adding color to it everything looks good but when i start shaping the mib my end result is always a lot smaller mib then i was hoping for. How can i get a bigger mib out of my rod? Do i need a lot bigger blob? Any help would be great thanks. John

First off you need to learn the terminoligy. Blob?= "Gather" and I don't know what you mean by mib. If we don't know what you are talking about we can't help you. Here is a link to some Lampworking Terminoligy:

Hi John. I think it looks like a flower too. Congrats! I've been to one marble making class and want to take more. Holden, MIB is latin for marble. Paul
