new to hot glass, expanding warm glass studio

Hi! I'm a newbie to hot glass, although I have been fusing glass and making jewelry for several years. My husband bought me a bead making kit for Valentine's day and I am looking to expand my studio! I have a medium sided kiln (I hope my mandrels fit in it.) And I have lots of COE 90 glass. I know that my new COE 104 glass will not be compatible but I am wondering if I will be able to use a product called Dichro Slide? Is anyone familiar with it? It's basically a dichroic sticker. I'm not sure how it might work with hot glass. Has anybody had any experience with it?

I also have several Bullseye glass powders. Is it true that glass powers work with any COE?

And finally, can you use COE 90 glass in a torch at all? I know I can't mix glass, but what if I just use strips of the 90?

Thank you for all your expertise!
Kat
