Making tools & Melting glass

Hi everyone. My name is Chris and I live in Indiana, just outside of Indianapois. Iv'e been torching for 2 years.

My current setup is a Barracuda with a custom base, 2 M15 Oxycons and I work mostly in boro. As I work more with glass, and others glass workers I always seem to end up spending as much time making tools as I do working with glass. In fact, I sell tools on my website, but I've never tried to sell any glass items I've made. Crazy, I know.

Anyhow, just wanted to introduce myself.

Chris

There are a couple of tutorials in the magazine. I don't recall which issue. But here is a link to one by Wicked Glass. http://www.glassartists.org/Gal38339...s_tutorial.asp

That is how I did the eye on my website. But I've since come up with a variation which I like better. Check out that tutorial and play with it. It gives good results but really needs some glass with silver content.

Whatever it is, your work is lovely. The ideas behind it are really nice and they need to be spread to more and more people.
