graphite mold blowing issue

Hi,
Does anyone know why I'm getting an evenly "dented" surface on the glass blown in a hot graphite mold ?
Not lines around the glass but evenly spaced " lozenges.
Thanks.

yes, because youre not pre-heating the mold. those are chill marks. is this a stationary mold or a turning mold? my guess is stationary. try getting it to 700 degrees before you blow.
