Do you (or anyone you know) want a large glass annealer? We've got most of one! We think it was previously used in the RISD glass department. Please email with any leads on who would want this. It is in Providence, RI.
It consists of a welded steel frame with perforated metal walls, a floor of firebricks, and something inside that looks like it's possibly a thermostat. The annealer/ kiln is 4 feet long, 3 feet wide, and about two feet high. It currently sits on an adjustable leveling table.
The annealer itself is free to whoever would come get it/ fix it/ use it, but we'd like to get some money for the heavy duty- leveling table. We're asking $200 for the table, but it's negotiable.
The annealer also comes with a metal shelf for holding about a dozen kiln shelves. It could probably also be used for firing ceramics.
