Herbert Arnold 40mm Zenit E Glass Sculpting bench burner

This is about a 5 year old model important to note its
jetted for Natural Gas*
The unit is in very good condition all ports and jets are like NEW (see burner face pic 5)
I am quite known as a long time collector and modifier of burners and torches for glass blowing.

Carlisles, Knights, Bethlehems, Sargents, GTT's, Fishers, Wales, Todd's, Precision, National, and Imported those rotating head Jencon Rotajets from England!
My F-book and domains are named Torchkid a nickname since long ago when as a kid as was constantly taking apart and modifing these things.
I've also done some design work and had ideas annexed (borrowed without payment)
These are undoubtedly the most sophisticated products on the market. This one was about $2700
I am really only letting it go because of its actual physical size. I work very small and exact liking a small high short torch.
Getting my hand right under where is all that shrouding.
* Important to note this one is jetted for natural gas (see inlet pic 7) It is producing the flame range you see with unpressurized city gas and 3, 5liter 02 generators pictures 8,9, and 10 the bushy ness in 9 is with the addition of a small amount of air pressure see black valve low and forward on right side of unit pic 4.
This model is not as temperamental as the usual propane model which requires a special regulator and high 02, I don't know if the unit can be used as is for other gases or if the jetting need be changed and you can totally modify the flame settings with the 3 oxy and 3 gas adjustment Allan heads to sculpt and modify the flame to you pressures and likes.
The Big center dial actually controls both the sz and intensity.
To operate this unit one should be quite familiar with characteristics of mixing some air with the flame it totally gives new horizons to fluming and shaping.
If you explore the adjustments you can work large rod with low pressure or quite small with this unit.
The bases on these always look burned its a very thin coating of blue and if a tab of boro even gets near you have the brown blistering!
On Bases see pic 6 this one is really heavy hence a higher shipping cost and insured I'm not charging more because of units selling price.

I Had planned to be a biologist, or other study of the inner form. A series of small, varied and detailed figures done by lamp work is the end result.
Torch sculpted, by hand, each is unique onto itself as only a hand made figure can be. Each figure has a tiny diamond scribed insignia (wmc-0"year) larger one of's are in addition numbered. Pictures following are to preview, often to show a variety and ideas in sizing coloration etc. Listing is for the actual Gallery photo item or exact facsimile. More evolved and expensive work in the line will be developing soon~! Done by an experienced flamework artist each is an individualized sculpture, please see above links for a detailed account of my approach and a plethora of pictures of past, present creations.
