Global Warning Glass Sculpture

jdc_roman Junior Member Registered: April 2007 Location: Eddyville, OR Posts: 23 users gallery	This art glass sculpture titled, "Global Warning", standing 17-3/4" tall and 6-1/2" wide, and weighing a little over 5 lbs, is dedicated to the Archangel Jophiel. To me it is symbolic of our times. Jophiel is known as the Patron Angel of Artists, and is also known for protecting the tree of life with a flaming sword. I sculpted him melting out of a borosilicate ice shard. A full explanation of the techniques used to create this borosilicate piece is in the August/September issue of GlassLine magazine. Finished June 2007.
