Serina ~ I created this boro sculpture after being inspired by Lance of Flame Tree when he called for the soft glass challenge and about the same time my son had sent me pictures from Puerto Vallarta Mexico. One of the pictures was of a mermaid ~ I made this clear boro version about 10” tall in hopes of making a smaller soft glass mermaid in color. But so far the torch gods have deiced they need more frit then soft glass sculptures from me LOL ~ I will keep trying. She is on a stone base with a hole in it and an led light underneath so the light sparkles through the glass.
